Who We Are
Vodafone Group is one of the world’s leading telecoms and technology service providers. We have extensive experience in connectivity, convergence and the Internet of Things, as well as championing mobile financial services and digital transformation in emerging markets.
Vodafone Group has mobile operations in 24 countries, partners with mobile networks in 42 more, and fixed broadband operations in 19 markets. As of 31 December 2019, Vodafone Group had approximately 625 million mobile customers, 27 million fixed broadband customers and 22 million TV customers, including all of the customers in Vodafone’s joint ventures and associates .
Our wide range of products and services
Consumer: We provide a wide range of mobile services, enabling customers to call, text and access data whether at home or travelling abroad. Our fixed line services include broadband, TV offerings and voice. Other value added services include money mobile services through M-Pesa, our customer internet of Things proposition “V by Vodafone” as well as security and insurance products
Business: We offer mobile, fixed and a suite of converged communication services to support the growing needs of our enterprise customers who range from small businesses to large multinational corporates. We offer multiple services through our Internet of Things (‘IoT’) connections, Cloud & Security and Carrier, which includes international voice, IP transit and messaging.
Other: We rent capacity to mobile virtual network operators as well as offer services to operators outside our footprint through our partner markets
Providing converged solutions in Europe
Our converged offers, combine mobile, fixed and content services. Our fixed Next Generation Network (‘NGN’) footprint has continued to expand and now covers 122 million marketable households in Europe. Within this, 54 million households are on our fully own network including VodafoneZiggo in the Netherlands, and a further 9 million households are covered through strategic partnership agreements where we have attractive commercial/access terms.
